Summer Vacations in Branson
It’s nearly summer and a perfect time to start planning a Branson vacation. Though many shows and attractions in Branson are open year-round, May through December will offer you the greatest variety of entertainment choices. Branson is best known for live entertainment, hosting such talented performers as Andy Williams, Jim Stafford, and the acclaimed celebrity-tribute show Legends in Concert. But did you know that Branson is home to two theme parks, Silver Dollar City and Celebration City?
If boating or fishing is more your style, Branson is situated right in the middle of three lakes: Table Rock, Taneycomo, and Bull Shoals. These lakes are great if you just want to spend a day swimming and having fun, or you could try one of Branson’s water parks. Splash Country is an indoor waterpark that is open year-round. Golf and miniature golf, go-karts, and even helicopter rides are among the many other fun summer activities that you and your family can experience in Branson.
